 Ogden’s Point S Tire – Blackfoot, ID

Project:

Fall 2019 – Ogden’s Point S Tires built an extension – essentially a new building linking two existing buildings – to greatly expand their service area & capabilities. They hired us to do all the networking in the new building.

We ran almost 4,000 foot of CAT6 cable to various workstation and phone locations through the building, as well as linked the new networking closet to the original networking closet in the original building.

The new networking closet houses a large networking rack with two 24-port patch panels, a 48 port Ubiquiti UniFi switch, and a 12 port rackmount Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector providing power for VOIP phone locations. All rack equipment is plugged into a rackmount Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and protected rackmount power strip.

Two new Ubiquiti UniFi WiFi Access Points (APs) were added in the new building and configured together with three existing APs for one seamless facility WiFi system.

Cable was installed in serviceable conduits & troughs that aided in the installation of a new security camera system by another vendor.
